Perhaps one of the strangest cases of foreshadowing the world has ever known was a novel written in 1898 by Morgan Robertson about a ship called Titan that crashes into an iceberg. And, of course, in 1912, the RMS Titanic crashed into an iceberg as well. Although the novel was written as a work of fiction, it strangely foretold the events of what would come to be one of the most famous disasters of all time.

I say it is coincidence since that Titan and Titanic can be used to describe something that is big or tough.

I think it is not a coincidence because there are several unsolved mystries in world's history.some thing is called sixth sense and the author may passed through it. It might possible that when the author had written the book, it was an imagination but when the book came in book stalls and readers like the novel they started imagin and reacting about it.and due to the LAW OF ATTRACTION thought of a 'sinking ship'converts in realty.

It might be a very strange coincidence d as d novel and d incident have so many dissimilarities as well as fate.even d writer didn't know dat someday his imagination would turn out to be real, else he would have forecasted in his novel itself!!
